Like all Church of England churches, Pickering Church is fully responsible for raising all the income it needs to operate as an active church, providing space for worship and prayer, baptisms, weddings and funerals, the pastoral care of the sick and elderly, children’s work, and the maintenance of our stunning mediaeval wall paintings.
To support Pickering Church, and help us continue our thousand year old tradition of serving the people of Pickering and beyond, you can:
- make a one-off or regular donation using the online donations option on this page;
- send a donation by cheque (payable to ‘PCC of Pickering Parish Church’) to the Vicar, Fr Antony Pritchett, at The Vicarage, Hatcase Lane, Whitby Road, Pickering, Yorkshire YO18 7HL; and
- discover how you can leave a lasting legacy to the life and work of the church by downloading the Legacy form below.
In June 2016, Pickering Church PCC agreed that all money donated through our website will be put towards our Heritage Project, but we know we won’t be able to achieve this without your support. So please do give generously: all gifts, however small or large, are gratefully received and will allow the important work we do here continue for many years to come.
